Lightning In A Bottle; Ryan Reyes Joins The Cast and Crew of THE FUNNY MAN.

Ryan Reyes studied Film Production and Literature at UC Santa Cruz.  He has worked in front and behind the camera on several independent feature films ranging in genre from horror to drama.  He has also written and produced scores of short-form comedy videos. His balls-out approach to comedy has proved to be extremely attractive amongst YouTube viewers.  His sketch comedy videos have generated more than 10 million hits on multiple platforms.

Ryan Reyes played a troubled young hustler who turns tricks to support a heroin habit in “Eugene”, the first feature film directed by Jake Barsha…  a gritty art-house thriller that premiered at The Palm Springs International Film Festival in 2009 and was the only American film selected that year included in the New Voices/New Visions category supporting the work of new directors making their first or second film.  “Eugene” was also an official selection of a dozen other film festivals including Strasbourg International where Reyes was nominated for best supporting actor.

A few of Ryan’s other projects include “Patrick and Molly, and the little things”, “Leidy’s New Boyfriend” and “Parade”.  Ryan is also part of the Totally Sketch comedy troupe, a network of actors, comedians and filmmakers dedicated to creating free videos that are really funny like THIS ONE.
