"On to your latest endeavor – THE FUNNY MAN. Give us the logline and current status of the film."

(JAKE:) THE FUNNY MAN is about a bipolar comedian who derives pleasure from wearing a creepy sponge-like mask, video-taping his victims and demanding that they “say something funny”. It’s a psychological horror thriller in the vein of PSYCHO. The story involves an attractive young woman, an overbearing ex-boyfriend, a nightclub owner and his domineering wife, a nosy neighbor and her husband, and an actor/producer. They all find out the hard way that THE FUNNY MAN really isn’t very funny.

Domiziano Arcangeli; International Model, Actor and Film Producer Joins THE FUNNY MAN Cast!

Domiziano Arcangeli was first discovered by famous photographer, Helmut Newton, and when he was 15 he was cast by Federico Fellini in the Academy Award winning film, "Intervista".  He has acted in more than 100 films since then, and has worked with many film legends, including Samuel L Jackson, Dennis Hopper, Sean Connery , Brett Halsey, Anita Ekberg, Mickey Rourke and Sir Laurence Olivier.

We are thrilled to announce that Leslie Easterbrook will be in our twisted new movie, The Funny Man.

Leslie Easterbrook created Callahan, the tough as nails, over zealous drill instructor in the Police Academy movies.  If you missed her in the original movie, you may have seen her in one of the sequels, seductively punching her way from Sergeant to Captain!

Laura was born and raised Brazil.  She began her modeling career as a teenager in Rio de Janeiro, the swimsuit capitol of the world.  At the same time, she studied Law and earned a Bachelors Degree in International Business.

Mystifying Magician; "Scary Larry" Joins The Supporting Cast of THE FUNNY MAN.

Larry Frick a.k.a. “Scary” Larry is a mystifying magician and professional member of the “Magic Castle” association of elite magicians in Hollywood, CA.  Larry's specialty is close-up/strolling/mingle magic.  He is an all around entertainer who can frequently be found baffling denizens at The Magic Castle in Hollywood and private social events.  Scary Larry is also the driving force behind Los Angeles Gothic-Industrial band D NATURED. 

Lightning In A Bottle; Ryan Reyes Joins The Cast and Crew of THE FUNNY MAN.

 

Ryan Reyes studied Film Production and Literature at UC Santa Cruz.  He has worked in front and behind the camera on several independent feature films ranging in genre from horror to drama.  He has also written and produced scores of short-form comedy videos. His balls-out approach to comedy has proved to be extremely attractive amongst YouTube viewers.  His sketch comedy videos have generated more than 10 million hits on multiple platforms.

Lightning In A Bottle; Matthew Prater Joins The Cast and Crew of THE FUNNY MAN.

Actor/producer Matt Prater celebrates eleven years in Hollywood in the year 2011 with his ninth official feature film role in the latest project from director Jake Barsha, an intense thriller/horror titled "The Funny Man." This marks Prater's fifth feature in the thriller/horror genre and his second as a producer.
